OUR STORY

GENUINE RELATIONSHIPS

Blue Ridge Bagels was purchased by Barry and Cheryl Kane in March 2012. They had previously owned another business beforehand which gave them a lot of business experience. Cheryl does all of the accounting and bookkeeping while Barry does all the administration. They both work together on the menu and other aspects of their business. They were originally in Bedford until 2014 when they moved to Lynchburg. The move was unexpected and difficult, but God led them to a new location and a new place of business where they could focus on the Lynchburg community and share the joy that they have in Christ with their customers. They want to continue giving their service and joy to the area as they grow their business.

OUR PASSION

QUALITY FOOD

Blue Ridge Bagels is committed to being a mom-and-pop restaurant. One of the things we strive for is to be on a first name basis with our customers. We feel this helps show their appreciation for our customers and gives us an opportunity to learn their stories. Barry and Cheryl want their customers to know that they care about them and that they do not mind taking time out of their day to meet them where they are. We always have uplifting music playing in the background and always greet customers with a warm smile.

Another passion we have is to serve the best quality foods we can find. All of our bagels come straight from New York and all of our meats are Boars Head. We make all of their own doughnuts, cream cheese, potato salad, pasta salad, chicken salad, tuna salad, and soups. The rule is if we bring something in and Barry and Cheryl do not like it personally then it will not be sold.
